Pavlos Stratakos is a doctoral researcher within the Marie-Sklodowska Curie Actions funded program, TRACES. He holds an integrated master's degree in Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Patras, where his thesis focused on developing a novel method for simulating the flow around AC SDBD Plasma actuators. In this work, he delved deeper into plasma physics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and numerical methods. Currently, Pavlos is conducting an experimental investigation on ice crystal accretion. His Ph.D. research centers on exploring the processes involved in ice crystal adhesion and mass deposition, while also using ultrasound imaging to visualize liquid water propagation through ice layers.
