After completing this module, students are able to identify the production processes required in modern production development processes on the basis of the joining technology peculiarities and to discuss the properties of the resulting products. With the help of numerical methods, students can perform calculations of the specific properties and analyse them based on the theoretical principles. By comparing the results with experimental data, students are able to evaluate the quality of the calculation results and, through the acquired numerical and joining technology knowledge and the use of suitable numerical tools, they are able to design joining joints in a way that is suitable for the application.
