After completing this module, students will be able to describe the theoretical principles of the manufacturing processes mentioned in DIN 8580. With the acquired knowledge, they will gain skills to evaluate and apply manufacturing processes. Furthermore, the students are able to compare and evaluate the manufacturing process under technological aspects. They learn how to design casting processes for the original forming of metals and plastics. The students are able to successfully apply or discuss scientific findings and methods in a group, as well as to communicate results among themselves and to prepare them in written form.
