As the Professional and Personnel Development (ZPE), we are the point of contact for all matters relating to professional training and development as well as health and well-being in the workplace. We support and accompany individuals and teams with a variety of offers, including workshops, seminars, coaching, team-building measures, information and exchange events as well as individual counselling.

In cooperation with various institutions and faculties at TU Braunschweig, the Professional and Personnel Development is currently developing a concept for onboarding new employees.
Concept development in cooperation with the Strategic University Development and the Equal Opportunities Unit.
With the development of a new format on the subject of "Mobile working and alternating teleworking", Professional and Personnel Development is entering the world of e-learning. The project is being realised in cooperation with GITZ*, CISO**, Human Resources, Occupational Safety and the Staff Council.
For successful cooperation, it is essential to get in touch with each other, exchange information and experiences and learn from each other. We would like to offer you opportunities and space for this in our networking and exchange formats.
The annual review between managers and their employees offers both sides the opportunity to strengthen their job satisfaction by providing confidential feedback on their work situation and discussing opportunities for promotion, development and participation.

Guidelines on Leadership and Cooperation
These guidelines document a common understanding of leadership and cooperation and provide a binding framework for action, regardless of the area in which you work and the tasks you are involved in.
Guidelines on Error Culture
The guidelines on error culture aim to encourage all managers and employees of the central administration to cultivate and promote an open approach to errors.
The Jour fixe of the central and decentralised administration serves the regular exchange between the central administration and the employees with administrative tasks in the institutes, faculties and central facilities. Current topics, interfaces, problems and suggestions for improvement are discussed. The aim is to improve the exchange of information and thus cooperation.

The TU Braunschweig Postdoc Network meets every two months to exchange ideas and information in a relaxed atmosphere, to take up requests for the postdoc programme and to get to know postdocs from other (specialist) areas of the TU. The Quarterly Meeting for Managers in Technology and Administration is an event organised by the full-time Vice President Dietmar Smyrek, which focuses on providing information and exchanging ideas with all managers in the department - division heads, department and department heads and heads of staff units. The presence of the department's managers is mandatory.
