TU Braunschweig goes international!
Students from more than 100 countries are currently studying at TU Braunschweig. The International Office is there to help you find your way around the university. Feel free to contact the International Office for information and advice on studying, German language classes, financing your studies and many other aspects of university life. For our international students, the International Office is the first point of contact.
Raising kids and studying is a big challenge and a true juggling act for parents as they try to meet their responsibilities in both areas.
Parents who have children under the age of 14 living with them may apply for a remission of long-term tuition fees. Parents also have the option of studying part-time. For further information on how to balance your studies and your family, please contact the Equal Opportunities Office or the Family Assistance Office at TU Braunschweig.
The Student Support Service operates two child care centres close to the main campus.

TU Braunschweig’s Social Counselling service offers many and varied forms of support for students with a disability or chronic illness. You will receive comprehensive personal advice, for example on how to offset any disadvantages or on technical aids. The Social Counselling service is a joint initiative of TU Braunschweig and the Student Support Service OstNiedersachsen, so you can also find information on the Student Support Service’s website.
To facilitate getting around in Braunschweig, we recommend the City of Braunschweig’s guide for people with disabilities.
