Welcome to the CampusXperience 2025 at the Technical University of Braunschweig! From 20 to 22 of June 2025 we will open the doors of our university in cooperation with the AStA, the Jugendring Braunschweig and the Haus der Wissenschaft. Experience the variety of university life under the motto "Discover. Celebrate. Play". - Perfect for young people, families and everyone in the region.
The event kicks off on 20 June at 7 pm with an exciting Science Slam in cooperation with the Haus der Wissenschaft in the Universities Audimax. Researchers will present their projects in short, entertaining talks on TU Braunschweig's key research areas: metrology, the city of the future, engineering for health and mobility. Who will get the audience most excited about their research topic? Tickets will be available at the Haus der Wissenschaft Website from April.
If you want to take a closer look behind the scenes of the university, you are invited to join researchers on a discovery expedition through the TU Braunschweig's laboratories and various facilities on Saturday morning. There will be plenty to discover: from exciting demonstration experiments at the Elenia Institute for High Voltage Technology and Power Systems to a tour of the high-tech facilities at the Institute of Space Systems and a search for traces of plant scents in the medicinal garden of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Biology. 52 expeditions for the adventurous, as well as special offers for children and alumni*ae, are available free of charge on 21 June from 10 am to 3 pm. The free BSVG shuttle bus service will provide convenient transport between the campus locations. An overview of all the activities will be available here on the homepage from May. The free tickets can then be booked via Eventbrite.
For the second year in a row, the participatory festival project Summervibes, organized in cooperation with the AStA, the student association vonSeite and the Jugendring Braunschweig, takes place on Campus Nord at Bienroder Weg and invites you to exchange ideas, dance, move and network. The science area offers readings, keynotes and workshops on topics such as sustainability and mobility. In addition, all six faculties of TU Braunschweig will be present with exhibits and hands-on science. In the open-air area, a giant trampoline and hands-on activities such as a screen-printing stand, as well as live and electronic music by artists such as Remote Bondage and Emily Rose, will create the right festival atmosphere. On the Sunday of the event, from 2pm to 6pm, twelve different sports groups will be inviting you to try out new sports in the outdoor area on Franz-Liszt-Straße. Whether it's acro yoga, gymnastics, hyrox or parkour, there's something for everyone. For sports enthusiasts, there are beach volleyball and basketball tournaments. Meanwhile, our free childcare service will make sure the little ones are well looked after. A varied stage programme featuring Lindy Hop and Salsa dancers and a wide range of food and drink will round off the experience.
