In the Joining Technology module, students understand the theoretical principles and methods for the design and execution of joining connections. They will be able to show properties of different joining methods and categorize processes on the basis of selected criteria. Furthermore, the students deepen the theoretical basics by means of selected examples for industrial applications of the individual joining processes. Furthermore, they are enabled to design concepts in the context of joining suitability, joining processes and constructions according to critical requirements. At the end of the module participation the students can derive potentials of joining processes.
