I am a motivated researcher and science writer currently working towards my PhD as a DAAD doctoral fellow in the Pucker lab. My main research interests include gene duplications in plants, comparative genomics of plants, and bioinformatics tool development. Apart from these, my auxiliary interest areas encompass algae biotechnology, plant-microbe interactions and sustainable biotechnology at large. Along with scientific research, I am also keenly interested in science communication. I wear the hats of a science communicator and freelance science writer outside of lab!
