From October 16 to 17, 2023, AG Fleißner at the Insitut for Genetics hosted a two-day symposium on microbial interactions in the phytosphere. The event attracted researchers form diverse institutes in Braunschweig, as well invited speakers from Hamburg, Spain and South Africa, focusing on functional interactions within plant-associated microbiomes and their influence on host plants.
Participants attended brief talks from various research groups and insightful presentations from the invited experts. The format of the symposium fostered dynamic discussions on potential collaborations and strategies for sharing knowledge and resources.
