Starting in autumn 2025, an English-language module focusing on sustainable development will be available to both international and home students at the Faculty of Humanities and Education (Faculty 6).
The module, which is currently under development, will be interdisciplinary, integrating courses that are thematically linked to different aspects of sustainable development while also considering international perspectives. The courses that comprise the module will be offered by different departments within Faculty 6 and will take different forms, such as lectures, seminars, workshops, field trips or practical exercises. All courses will be taught in English some will be offered as hybrid courses. Thematically, the module will likely be divided into three main sections: Foundations, specialisation, and in practice. For international students, there will be an additional ‘elective’ section. Although the courses will be taught in English, home students may submit any required written coursework in German if they prefer.
