Damla is a doctoral researcher at ISM specializing in aerodynamics. She obtained her master’s degree from the Mechanical Engineering Department at Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara, where her research focused on reduced-order modeling and its applications in CFD. During her studies, she gained practical experience as an Aerodynamics Engineer. After completing her master’s, Damla continued her academic journey as a Research Student in the Aerospace Department at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics. Currently, she is focused on designing a multi-functional leading-edge for energy-efficient aircraft.
