Tess Sigwarth studied Industrial Engineering and Management with a specialization in Civil Engineering at the TU Braunschweig. Since February 2020 she has been a research associate at the Braunschweig Pavement Engineering Centre at the TU Braunschweig under the direction of Prof. Michael P. Wistuba. The focus of her research and teaching activities is on the characterization and rheological modelling of binders for bitumen-bound building materials. In this context, she is particularly focused on performance-oriented testing methods (creep tests, fatigue tests, deformation tests) of bitumen and asphalt mastic, bitumen ageing and the development of innovative modified bitumen.
