In the Bachelor's degree program at TU Braunschweig, students are taught basic knowledge of soil mechanics and foundation engineering. The course content, which is taught in lectures and exercises, takes into account the latest developments in research and practice.
In the 4th semester, the compulsory module Geotechnical Engineering begins with the topic of soil mechanics. The 5th semester provides an overview of foundation engineering methods and the 6th semester offers the optional module Tunnel Construction.
In the Master's degree course, students can choose to specialize in geotechnical engineering, in which the basic knowledge acquired so far is expanded. The content of the Bachelor's degree course is a requirement for this.
