Experiments with plants

Experimenting with plants provides an insight into the most diverse topics of biology. Different working techniques are used. The pupils look at flowers under the microscope, investigate the lotus effect of leaves, deal with "storage" in plants or explore "movements" in the plant kingdom.

Competences:

•     carry out simple investigations and experiments according to instructions
•     investigate the mechanism of pollination of flowers on a model and recreate it through small experiments
•     use a magnifying glass and microscope properly
•     make a microscopic specimen and draw it.
