As part of the International Sustainable Development in Buildings and Urban Districts seminar, there will be a guest lecture on Webex at the IBEA ON 21st July at 10:00 a.m. Dr Kayacetin from KU Leuven will speak on the subject of "Reflections on Curriculum Management: Energy Efficiency in Buildings".
Dr Cihan Kayaçetin was the Project Coordinator of the "Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings in Turkey" (2017-2020) project commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) within the context of the German Climate Technology Initiative (DKTI). The project aims to reduce the energy intensity in public buildings in Turkey and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Behalf of the project, Dr Kayaçetin will present the retrofit of a public school building in Kırıkkale according to international energy efficiency standards and the outcomes of the joint two Summer School on Energy Efficiency in Buildings organized in Ankara and Berlin.
