MANIFOLD – Modellentwicklung und Modellkopplung zu Akteursverhalten in Innovations- und Diffusionsnetzwerken

The development of new sustainable energy technologies and their widespread distribution are essential in order to achieve the necessary reduction in greenhouse gas emissions to reduce climate change.

The central purpose of the project is to enable energy system models, despite their primarily techno-economic focus, to better take into account results from quantitative and qualitative empirical analyses (e.g. conjoint analyses, qualitative interviews, etc.) on the behavior of actors (e.g. citizens, companies, etc.).

The project is being carried out in cooperation with Frauenhofer ISI, Frauenhofer ISE, the Institute for Future Energy Consumer Needs and Behavior at RWTH Aachen, the Institut für Energiewirtschaft und Rationelle Energieanwendung, the Zentrum für Interdisziplinäre Risiko- und Innovationsforschung at the University of Stuttgart, the Institut für Ressourceneffizienz und Energiestrategien (IREES) and the IQIB Institut für qualifizierende Innovationsforschung & - beratung.

Win^2 – Ways in psychology and in geoecology: interdisciplinary research by methods exchange

Aim of the project was Interdisciplinary work on statistical methods with the goal of finding new applications and common ideas. A resulting focus was the exploration of dynamic structural equation models in the context of geoecology.
The project was carried out in cooperation with the Landscape Ecology and Environmental Systems Analysis, Institute of Geoecology IGÖ. It was funded by Interdisciplinary Collaboration 2022-23 programme ExzellenzStärken – Open up interdisciplinarity at TU Braunschweig.

ORS - Projekt zum olfaktorischen Referenzsyndrom

The central aim of this collaborative project between the Institute of Psychology and the Institute of Pharmaceutical Biology is to describe the olfactory reference syndrome (ORS) on various levels. In particular, the basis of stimulation and perception of the symptoms will be analyzed.

IQUALITY- Indikatoren zur Qualitätssicherung im medizinischen Bereich

Development and evaluation of formal methods of quality management.

The project is being carried out in cooperation with the Herz-, Thorax- und Gefäßchirurgie (HTG) at Braunschweig Hospital (PD Dr. med. Wolfgang Harringer).

NEDS - Nachhaltige Energieversorgung Niedersachsen

Development of a sustainable electrical energy supply in Lower Saxony in 2050, taking into account social, ecological, economic and technical conditions.

The project was conducted in cooperation with the elenia Institute at TU Braunschweig and other institutes at Leibniz Universität Hannover, Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg.

EVE - Effiziente VerbraucherEinbindung

Development of a human-machine interface for the active integration of consumers into electrical energy supply systems for the optimized use of renewable energy sources.

The project was carried out in cooperation with the Institut für Hochspannungstechnik und Elektrische Energieanlagen (Prof. Dr. Bernd Engel) and the Institut für Sozialwissenschaften (Prof. Dr. Dirk Konietzka) and was funded by the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie.

e-Home Energieprojekt 2020

Scientific support for the e-Home project with regard to questions of energy consistency and acceptance research.

The project was carried out in cooperation with Avacon AG and the Energie-Forschungszentrum Niedersachsen (EFZN).

FAMOS - Galileo for Future AutoMOtive Systems

Development of driver assistance functions made possible by the European satellite navigation system Galileo.

The project was carried out as part of a larger consortium and funded by the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie (BmWi).

ArEaL - Analyse riskanter Einflussfaktoren an Lichtsignalanlagen

The study investigated the influence of contradictory stimulus constellations on traffic violations at traffic signals.

HyBS-HD - Hybrid Behaviour Simulation of Human Drivers

To what extent is the formal modeling approach of hybrid automata suitable for describing psychological models? To what extent are reinforcement value-based behavior models suitable for describing human behavior in traffic situations?

The project was carried out in cooperation with the Institut für Programmierung und Reaktive Systeme (Prof. Dr. Ursula Goltz) and funded by the Zukunftsfond of the TU Braunschweig.
