Liebe Studierende,
Im Sommersemester bieten wir am IMA die neue Vorlesung „Simulation technischer System mit Python II – Optimierung von Leichtbaustrukturen“ an, die die ehemalige Vorlesung „Strukturoptimierung“ mit der Programmierung in Python verknüpft. Hier werden Probleme aus dem Bereich der Strukturoptimierung sowie zugehörige Optimierungsstrategien und -algorithmen vorgestellt. In der Übung werden diese dann mit Python implementiert und angewendet. Ihr könnt in diesem Rahmen eure Programmierkenntnisse, die ihr in der Vorlesung „Simulation technischer System mit Python“ oder in einem anderen Kontext erworben habt, weiter vertiefen und in einem neuen Kontext anwenden.
Zusätzlich werden sowohl in der Vorlesung als auch in der Übung Experimente durchgeführt, um die Ergebnisse von Programmierung und Optimierung und ihre Anwendbarkeit auf die Realität zu überprüfen.

In the summer semester, we are offering the new lecture " Simulation technischer System mit Python II – Optimierung von Leichtbaustrukturen " at the IMA, which combines the former lecture "Strukturoptimierung" with programming in Python. Problems from the field of structural optimisation and associated optimisation strategies and algorithms are presented here. In the exercise, these are then implemented and applied using Python. In this context, you can deepen the programming skills you acquired in the lecture " Simulation technischer System mit Python" (or elsewhere) and apply them in a new context.
In addition, experiments will be carried out both in the lecture and in the exercise to test the results of programming and optimisation and their applicability to reality.
