Tissue Development and Pathogenesis (Bio-ZB31, Bt-MZ06) - Exercise course

Course content

The lecture accompanying laboratory exercises „Tissue development and pathogenesis” are scheduled for 4 weeks. It can be completed successfully either during the summer term, or the next winter term. The students participate with a project work in the research group “Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology”. The students learn new and modern techniques relevant for the projects in focused applications in the zebrafish. This involves cell culture, cloning, mutagenesis, injection experiments, gene expression analysis, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence, fluorescence-microscopy, laser-scanning microscopy, in vivo imaging, histology and behavioral phenotyping.
