This course will introduce you to US-American literature and its cultural contexts from the beginning of the 20th century to the present. You need not have taken the first survey course of US-American literature to attend this one; however, it helps. Caveat: the course has a heavy reading load, so start reading early. The syllabus will be available on Stud.IP in advance of the semester. All of the texts will be taken from the last two v4412 091olumes (D&E) of the 2017 (9th ed.) five-volume edition of the Norton Anthology of American Literature.
