Seminars

Seminare

The aim of the seminars is to impart specialist knowledge that employees can successfully implement in their everyday (working) lives. The aim is to support health-promoting behavior.

All TU Braunschweig employees can take part in the Corporate Health Promotion seminars. The seminars are offered free of charge and in cooperation with the Personnel Development Department.

The CHP seminar programme in the second half of 2025

You can look forward to the upcoming BGF seminar period, which will now start every six months in July and January, in line with the current change to the training programme of the Central HR Development department.

You will find the registration links and further information in the seminar descriptions below. You can register as usual via Stud.IP.

CHP Movement seminar: Slow jogging - running with ease 19.08.2025

For employees of the TU Braunschweig

Slow jogging is a gentle way of running that is easy on the joints and ideal for beginners and those returning to running. The running technique, which originated in Japan, improves fitness without overstraining and is carried out at the so-called Niko-Niko pace (from the Japanese ‘with a smile’). The seminar is aimed at employees of TU Braunschweig who want to strengthen their cardiovascular system and get into running with joy and ease. Discover how you can get moving gently with slow jogging and, at the same time, reduce stress and gain more energy for your working day.

Theoretical introduction: What is slow jogging?
Differentiation between slow jogging and other types of running
Instructions and practical exercises in the group: warm up, slow jogging, cool down
Time for individual questions
Note: You will need flexible (running/jogging) shoes with as little heel as possible (drop <8 mm). the flatter, the better. Loose leisure or sports clothing, possibly clothing that can also be used in rainy weather. The running practice will probably make you sweat less, as it is mainly about learning the correct technique.

The spinal column is both a supporting and locomotor organ. The spine consists of vertebrae connected by intervertebral discs. There are many causes of back pain. Often it is poor posture in everyday (working) life, weakened muscles, lack of exercise and/or being overweight that cause the back muscles to become tense or blocked. As a result, strengthening the core muscles is unavoidable.
