Industrial and Organizational Psychology is the scientific study of the workplace. Rigor and methods of psychology are applied to questions concerning human beings operating within the context of business and organizations. Research in Industrial and Organizational Psychology is aimed at describing, analyzing, understanding, predicting, and designing workplace attitudes and behaviors.
