The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering's new Sustainable Engineering of Products and Processes (B.Sc.) degree programme, which started in winter semester 2021/22, appeals to the interests of many young people who prioritise climate protection and social responsibility. Prospective students who were previously unable to decide on a traditional engineering degree programme will immediately recognise the focus on sustainability in the title. A more diverse student group and more young women can be expected. The subjects not only reflect the interests of young people, they also incorporate the needs of the industry. A bilingual degree programme that particularly appeals to international students.
