Summary of the overall project:
The aim of the “HighEnergy” project in the ProZell cluster is to increase the performance of lithium-ion cells while simultaneously retrenchments material and manufacturing costs and thus establishing the prerequisites for technological and cost leadership in large-scale battery production in Germany. The project pursues a dual approach and combines the expertise of process- and process-engineering working groups with well-founded know-how of researchers in the field of electrochemical and structure-based simulation and modelling of batteries.
