In our research, we are routinely using custom-made probes, PCBs, and various sample holders. The design of electronic and mechanical components is an interesting task itself. For your Bachelor's theses, our group offers a variety of topics, encompassing, e.g., electromagnetic modeling, design, and realization of prototype parts and devices which can later be used for your future Master's and PhD projects. Some projects are closer to electrical engineering while some topics are closer to materials science and physics.
