A new junior research group on "Analysing and Modelling the Atmospheric Impact of Novel Propulsion Technologies" has been established in the Cluster SE²A. It is about developing and applying a methodology for estimating the impact of novel energy efficient aircraft equipped with new propulsion technologies on the earth climate in the coming decades. Future operational air traffic scenarios including a mix of conventional and energy efficient aircraft shall be considered.
Within this research group are two new open positions as doctoral candidate:
Doctoral candidate (m/f/d) in the field of modelling aviation’s impact on the atmosphere
(EG 13 TV-L, Full-time, part-time possible)
