On May 28th a group of engineering students from TU Braunschweig were given an exclusive look into the world of aerospace engineering and vibration measurement during our traditional field trip to Rolls Royce in Dahlewitz and Maul-Theet GmbH in Berlin as part of the lecture Vibration Measurement and Analysis (Schwingungsmesstechnik). We are delighted to see that not only students of our lecture took this offer but other students also joined our group.
At Rolls Royce, the students observed advanced testing methods used to analyze engine performance and durability under extreme conditions. The main focus was on dynamics and rigorous testing of aircraft engines and components. They gained valuable insights into the intricate design and manufacturing processes involved in producing these powerful yet precise propulsion systems. This firsthand experience has undoubtedly fueled their passion for pushing the boundaries of aerospace technology.
At Maul-Theet, the students gained hands-on experience with state-of-the-art vibration testing equipment and witnessed live demonstrations of advanced measurement techniques. They also learned about the applications of acoustics in various industries. This immersive experience provided valuable insights into the cutting-edge technologies shaping the field of vibration engineering.
