Carolo Wilhelmina Foundation Fund

Carolo Wilhelmina Foundation Fund

Aim of the foundation

According to its statutes, the Carolo Wilhelmina Foundation Fund supports registered student associations at the TU Braunschweig with the aim of improving study conditions and teaching. Funding should focus on projects that improve study conditions and/or teaching for the largest possible number of students across disciplines and faculties or create new programmes. Please note the funding guidelines of the Foundation Fund.

The founder also welcomes student engagement and projects in the areas of sport, music and culture, as a wide range of campus activities outside the lectures and laboratories increases the attractiveness of studying and has a positive influence on motivation and therefore academic success. The Foundation Fund excludes support for associations and projects with a political or socio-political objective as well as student organisations.

The Carolo Wilhelmina Foundation Fund offers registered student associations two application options, both of which you can use annually if required:

Advisory committee

The Executive Board of the Carolo Wilhelmina Foundation decides on the appropriation of the funds to be distributed from the Foundation Fund on the recommendation of an advisory committee with equal representation.

The members of the advisory committee:

  • Prof. Dr. Stephan Scholl, Institute for Chemical and Thermal Process Engineering
  • Axel Fricke M.Sc./M.Eng., Institute for Construction Engineering and Management
  • Amro Bay, Student
  • Maximilian Schönfelder, Student
