Why should I go abroad?

Spending some time abroad will provide you with intercultural and practical language skills and will give you an advantage with many employers. But it is also an adventure, a personal challenge and a very special experience.

You should think about whether going abroad is an option for you right at the start of your studies.

It is important to know that a stay abroad does not necessarily extend your overall study time and that there are many financial aids that do not make your stay more expensive than your studies at home.

If you have attended our information events and already have a more precise idea of what type of stay abroad is suitable for you, come to our open consultation hours in the Study Service Centre or arrange a personal consultation appointment.

The Mobility Office in the International House will advise you on general questions about the realisation and organisation of your stay abroad. For specific questions about the content of your studies, please contact the subject coordinators in your faculty.
