Are you interested in working in the media sector and would like to use your communication skills in an editorial or PR department?
The professional fields for social scientists are extremely diverse. They work in science and research, in business enterprises, the media, government institutions or international organizations.
During the course of your studies, you will acquire fundamental specialist and methodological knowledge and develop an independent profile through your specialisation, your internship, but also through commitment and part-time work. During your studies, you will strengthen key competences such as problem-solving skills, holistic and analytical thinking, communication skills, conceptual strength and interdisciplinarity.
Depending on the chosen specialisation and the skills acquired, the Bachelor's degree programme in Social Sciences qualifies students for work at middle management level, for example in the following areas:
- Project management, coordination (e.g. project management, quality management)
- Political education
- Political consulting, public affairs
- Management and organisational consulting, organisational development, personnel development
- Public relations, PR, journalism
- Market and opinion research
- Economic development and regional development
- International services and international organisations, diplomacy, development cooperation
- NGOs, political parties, political foundations, associations, organisations, trade unions, federations, etc.
