Mission A - Legal mandate for equality, family and diversity
We are available to answer questions on gender equality, the advancement of women, anti-discrimination, sexualised violence and the compatibility of family and career or studies.
We support the university management, faculties and institutes in the development and implementation of equality, family and diversity-orientated measures.
We promote the permeability of career paths between academia and industry and plan supportive measures for students and employees with children.
Mission B - Big Picture of the TU: Research | Science | Transfer
We link the strategically relevant research fields through our cross-cutting topics and actively organise the exchange with the TU institutions and society.
We develop further qualifications for young female scientists and support them.
We offer services and advice for gender-sensitive degree programme development (MINT 4 TU).
Mission C - Braunschweig Network for Gender and Diversity Studies
We coordinate the network as a cross-university cooperation organisation of TU Braunschweig, Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences and Braunschweig University of Art.
We implement Gender and Diversity Studies in the TU's curriculum. We create innovative teaching programmes by integrating gender aspects into research and teaching.
We support and advise academics, form networks and promote cooperation with schools and companies.
