European Policy Analysis (EPA) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by Wiley and part of the Policy Science Organization. The editorial team consists of Nils C. Bandelow, Johanna Hornung, Fritz Sager, and Klaus Schubert as general editors, and Ilana Schröder as editorial director. The journal follows the aim to present European perspectives on policy analysis to an international community and to apply approaches of policy analysis on European countries.
EPA was added to the Web of Science in 2021 and is part of the Emerging Sources Citation Index with all articles since January 2019. EPA has a CiteScore of 7.8 and is ranked 15/652 in the Political Science and International Relations category of Scopus (2022).
The journal publishes both theoretical and empirical papers. It is open to different methodological and scientific-theoretical approaches. Overview contributions on theories and concepts of policy analysis (e.g. policy-oriented learning, governance, policy entrepreneurs, policy change, path dependency, etc.), ideally with a special focus on the conceptualization and/or application in European contexts, are also welcome.
We are always happy to receive new submissions and proposals for special issues. Submissions are made via the following site: https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/epajournal
