In addition to the basics, business information systems teaches knowledge of business luK-systems in particular. The focus is on internal systems (enterprise resource planning system + data warehouse) and systems between the company and the customer (electronic marketplaces).

In computer science, the focus is on programming and actual software development as well as the basics of algorithms, databases and computer networks. This covers the essential fields of computer science for later practice.

In the field of economics, the typical operational tasks of management are part of the degree program. This includes marketing, corporate management, finance, production & logistics, accounting and law.

The degree program is supplemented by the 4th major field: mathematics. Mathematics is an essential part of the degree program. In addition to the classics of linear algebra and analysis, the focus is also placed on statistics and optimization.

The degree program is completed by the professionalization area: in addition to social and personal skills, the focus here is also on practice. As part of the IT practice, students gain insights into the practice of companies and can thus get a better impression.

Obviously, your own interests are not neglected in the Bachelor's degree either. About a third of the degree program can be structured variably, i.e. students can freely choose their courses from a specific selection of subjects.

The degree program is usually completed with the final thesis. Students work independently for 3 months on a specific topic and produce their own thesis as a result.

The Bachelor's degree program in information business systems is admission-free, i.e. the number of places is not limited. You can start your studies in the winter and summer semesters. You can apply for the winter semester from 01.06. to 15.10. and for the summer semester from 01.12. to 31.03.
