The TU Braunschweig offers a pre-course in mathematics to prepare students for their degree program. The preliminary mathematics course is designed to improve computational confidence, increase calculation speed and close knowledge gaps.

• Mathematics pre-course

To help you get started with your degree program, there is a small social program at the start of the lecture period. The aim is to get to know the university as well as the fellow students. The program for the summer semester can be found on the website of the department, which is also responsible for planning and running the events.

In addition, every student will receive an e-mail, preferably to their TU e-mail address, with further information about the start of their studies. If you have not yet received an email, please send an email to  wi-studium(at)tu-braunschweig.de.

The timetable for the first semester is available here. The small exercise groups are then added to the courses. The method of allocation will be announced in the respective first course.

In order to be able and allowed to take the exams after the end of the lecture period, you must register for the exams. This can be done online or in person. Please note the following information on the Examination Office website.
