In November 2023, the Executive Board of the TU Braunschweig met again with representatives of the six faculties as part of the annual faculty development talks. The talks are an important step towards achieving the goals of the university development 2030 (see also interview with President Angela Ittel "What will the university of the future look like?"). After the university development event in June 2023, which focused on university-wide exchange, the Executive Board now met with each individual faculty again. This time, the focus was on the specific "action items" agreed upon in the first faculty development meetings (Nov. 2022) on the one hand, and on the design and classification of the cross-sectional dimensions in the overall development on the other.
The annual faculty development exchange is characterized by its ability to respond to changes as an agile and dynamic model, while repeatedly shifting the focus back to the overall goal. The Executive Board and the participating members from the faculties greatly appreciate the productive exchange and the systematic approach to relevant topics for the joint development of our university and see the format as an important building block for jointly implementing the necessary major development topics of our university.

The faculty development talks were accompanied by the Strategic University Development (SHSE) unit. The Executive Board and the SHSE would like to thank the faculties for preparing the appointments and for their open communication. The university development process will continue in June 2024 with the second university development event for university-wide exchange and with a view to the overall objective of HSE 2030. The next individual discussions with the faculties will then take place in November 2024.
