Borrowing instead of buying

Members of TU Braunschweig have numerous opportunities to borrow items - here is a selection.

Sharing with Sandkasten

Before it collects dust in the cellar, borrow it or offer something yourself! The TU Braunschweig lending exchange.

Anyone who registers on the Sandkasten platform and is a member of TU Braunschweig or offers at least one of their own items for loan can borrow other items immediately. Items are always collected in person from the person lending them.

Why the whole thing?

Groups of the TU Braunschweig

There are numerous student initiatives and other groups at TU Braunschweig. They often have items that they offer for loan. It's definitely worth talking to them and getting to know each other better.

Model building materials for architecture students

A project team of employees and students, supported by Sandkasten, has created an exchange shelf for architectural model building materials. The “Archishare” exchange shelf can be found in the foyer of the Okerhochhaus.
The aim is to be able to continue using the materials after the design has been submitted and thus reduce waste. A lot of money can also be saved.
