Sandkasten is for everyone who has an interest in making life on campus and in the city even more liveable and sustainable.

The people who spend many hours a day at TU Braunschweig should also be able to help shape the campus and campus life.

Students and employees can create places or start projects and events that make the campus a better place to live. Sandkasten is the interface to the administration. Staff are happy to provide support with project development and funding.

On the Sandkasten platform, you can post projects, view existing projects, network or offer your help. You can also find lots of useful tips for volunteering on campus.

Do you have ideas for more sustainability, social cohesion or culture on campus? Then simply start a project and implement the idea together with others!

Meeting Spot

The Sandkasten-Zentrale (SKZ) in the old building offers a meeting place for exchange and creative work. Not only do Sandkasten employees meet there, but the project teams also have a place to work on their ideas.
In the Sandkasten office (Bültenweg 17), employees work daily for a campus worth living on and can be reached there.
