In order to recognise and promote these achievements, numerous prizes are awarded annually to outstanding scientists. These awards not only serve to recognise individual achievements, but also help to promote scientific progress.
On our homepage you will find an overview of the most prestigious German science prizes, and we will assist you in the nomination process. In the present list of prizes, it is not possible to self-nominate; instead, nominations are made exclusively at the request of the President's Office. Prizes that can be coordinated by the institutes themselves will be forwarded directly to the responsible deans and institutes.
