The class Basic Natural Sciences for Environmental and Resource Protection is offered in the winter term as part of the module Basics of Environment and Resources Protection. This module is optional for maths and science fundamentals of the Master Program Civil Engineering), for spezialised studies in Supply and Disposal Management (Bachelor Program Environmentall Engineering) and as a Supplementary Module for Master Studies in Geoecology/Environmental Sciences.
Basics of Environment and Resource Protection (6 CP):
- Basic Natural Sciences for Environmental and Resource Protection (Dockhorn/Team) 3 CP
- Eco-Balancing (Münnich) 3 CP
The class covers advanced questions of biological, chemical and physical processes as well as engineering fundamentals for technical resource and environment protection. Material cycles, resource economy and alternative treatment concepts are also part of the course.
