The central administration of Technical University is undergoing an intensive process of change. The objectives of the central administration from 1996 therefore had to be adapted to today's circumstances. In several events in 2008 and 2017, the employees jointly reconsidered the objectives of the time and developed them into a new mission statement.
The goal of giving a unified direction to the actions of the central administration is one that the Vice President for Human Resources, Finance and Infrastructure wholeheartedly endorses. The mission statement should continue to be a motivating and orienting basis for all employees of the central administration in the future and at the same time serve as a guideline for shaping strategic goals and for day-to-day-work.
„Shaping quality and service together“ — These four criteria are an incentive for the central administration of TU Braunschweig for the future.
Based on the central administration’s mission statement with the profile "Shaping quality and service together," central administration executives worked with the Vice President for Human Resources, Finance and Infrastructure to develop the key points of the central administration’s strategy.
The strategic core points describe the long-term development activities of the central administration and thus provide a secure framework for day-to-day-work. The core points provide a reliable orientation for the future and are reviewed annually to ensure that they are up-to-date. In this context, it is important that all employees of the central administration orient themselves to the strategic core points and contribute to discussions on this in the respective departments and designated offices.
Organisational Development coordinates the strategy process and serves as the point of contact in addition to the Vice President for Human Resources, Finance and Infrastructure.
