The module cluster 'Platforms for Information Technologies' (PIT) combines English-language courses in the winter semester, covering communication and computer systems from fundamentals to advanced applications. The cluster is designed with extended online support, including live streaming of lectures and additional online materials, ensuring accessibility for international and exchange students who may arrive late in Germany. PIT equips students with knowledge about embedded systems, as well as their communication. As such, it provides the foundation to design future connected IT platforms. The courses are designed to complement each other but can also be taken individually depending on the students' needs. The cluster includes the following courses:
