Research at the Institute of Construction Economics and Construction Management (IBB) is very strongly oriented towards practical construction issues. Since its foundation in 1971, IBB has received groundbreaking impulses for a large number of scientific works from its close contact with the construction industry.
A credible communication of the current technical contents in teaching is not possible anyway without the constant contact maintained by IBB with the areas of construction planning, construction execution, project management and corporate management in the construction industry.
One of the guiding principles of the scientific activities at IBB is to work on scientific questions that are raised by the practice and are demanded by it. For all parties involved in the construction process, consulting services are provided and research reports and expert opinions are prepared for the most diverse phases of construction - from project development to construction implementation to operation of the objects.
