Project introduction:
As part of this dismantling project, separation techniques for a suitable reverse engineering have to be identified. Material-process interactions and contaminations have to be examined during separation and their development within the recycling process. For a resource- and energy-efficient recycling route it is important to be able to separate the products according to type at all levels at an early stage to achieve the highest possible yield. Suitable methods of separating battery cells/modules will be identified in terms of ecological and economic efficiency.
