The Battery LabFactory Braunschweig (BLB) is a research centre of the TU Braunschweig. We investigate and develop electrochemical storage devices from laboratory to pilot plant scale. With our research, we want to enable the sustainable circular production of battery cells. Hence, our research spectrum covers the entire value chain from material development, electrode and cell manufacturing to battery recycling.
The BLB is part of the regional alliance of research institutions "Braunschweig LabFactories for Batteries and more", which extends to membrane based systems and energy conversion technology.
