In the professional and everyday world, we are perceived either as a woman or a man, as a superior, colleague, partner, student and much more. In our everyday communication, we convey ideas of social images that go hand in hand with socially influenced behaviour and evaluations. This is especially true for management positions. This "doing gender" can be found in all forms of communication. The aim of the training/seminar is to become aware of the social evaluation of communicative behaviour and to be able to change it in a targeted manner. In addition, the associated forms of communication and corresponding argumentation strategies are taught, which help to combine different forms of communication with the acquired gender competence, because this combination is one of the key qualifications of the future!
The course is part of the activity-oriented offer of the overall programme of interdisciplinary courses of the TU Braunschweig for BA and MA (pool model). A prerequisite for the acquisition of a credit point is, in addition to the attendance dates, the completion of the associated tasks and the giving of a short presentation.

The group coaching is offered in cooperation with the Institute of Industrial/Organizational and Social Psychology and is part of the Soft skill trainings offer of the overall programme of interdisciplinary courses of the TU Braunschweig for BA and MA (pool model). You can earn 2 CP. In addition to participation in the framework programme, the preparation of an experience report is a prerequisite.
