Master's programme in Environmental Engineering

The consecutive Master's degree programme in Environmental Engineering builds on the basic training of the Bachelor's degree programme. You will deepen your knowledge in the Master's programme in order to start your career as a well-trained specialist. You will receive an intensive scientific and research-orientated education at TU Braunschweig.

The study programme is planned individually. The General Section of the Examination Regulations (APO) applies to all Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes at TU Braunschweig. We have summarised the information for you in the explanatory notes on the Master's degree programme. You should read these carefully before starting your studies.

The explanations of the Master's programme, the timetables and the programme coordinator will help you to plan your course of study. The courses usually take place annually. Already during your studies, you will gain insights into current construction projects in lecture series held by experts from the field of construction. You can also take part in exciting excursions. You will acquire action-related skills in seminars on topics such as design thinking, job applications and assessment centres, presentation, conflict management and personnel management. Language courses at a higher level are also part of the key qualifications that you can put to good use later in your professional life.

With your Master's thesis at the end of your studies, you show that you are able to independently familiarise yourself with a complex topic as well as methodically work on it. You then present your work as a lecture, answer questions and defend your thesis. Topics are assigned directly in the institutes. Please contact the staff there in good time.
