The literature management program Citavi belongs to the US company Lumivero since 2021, therefore, your
personal data may be transferred to the US. We would like to point out that the USA is not a safe third country in the sense of the
EU data protection law. US companies are obligated to release personal data to security authorities without
you as the data subject can take legal action against this. It can therefore not be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. intelligence services) may use your data located on
US servers for monitoring purposes, evaluate and permanently store your data.
We have no influence on these processing activities.
