You can book appointments for office hours via Stud.IP. This is done via the StudIP system (https://studip.tu-braunschweig.de). You can click directly on the adjacent link and select the "Appointments" tab to make an appointment.
The following information is available for these consultation hours::
The consultation hours are intended to clarify problems relating to the study programme. Therefore, please enter the topic of your problem directly when booking so that we can advise you better.
Documents (transcripts of records, applications for recognition of achievements, etc.) can still be submitted by post. Please use the normal postal service or the central mailbox of TU Braunschweig. You will find the central TU mailbox in the Forum building (Universitätsplatz 2). We do not have a letterbox on site.
In principle, all examinations must be registered online. If online registration is not possible, you can also register for examinations in writing during the registration period with the following form:
Registration form (you can find this online or in the boxes in front of the Examinations Office)
You must register for your examinations during the registration period. Please note the information provided by e-mail or on the websites.
No examination registrations will be accepted outside the above-mentioned registration period, even upon request!
Please note the following circumstances: As the dates for oral examinations must be arranged independently with the institutes, a fictitious examination date is stored in the online system for the online registration of oral examinations. This date marks the first day of the examination period and thus the day from which oral examinations can take place in the respective semester (in the summer semester 2024: 08.07.2024).
From the winter semester 2024/25, registration for the semester-accompanying seminars will also take place online - via TU-Connect - and will replace the binding registration on the registration lists.
The respective registration times will be communicated to you by the institutes during the introductory or kick-off events.
Please note the topic announcements on the websites of the institutes.
What do I need to consider when registering and submitting a bachelor thesis?
The topic of the Bachelor's thesis must be in the field of economics. The processing time is 3 months. Please note that you must be matriculated while working on your Bachelor's thesis!
In order to be admitted to register for the bachelor thesis, you must have completed at least 120 CP of the examinations or coursework required to successfully complete the degree programme. You can find out whether you have achieved the required 120 credit points at the Examinations Office or check for yourself at https://vorlesungen.tu-bs.de. If you submit the application for the Bachelor's thesis without the required credits, the application will not be recognized. Furthermore, the Bachelor's thesis CANNOT be re-registered with the same title.
First of all, you need to find a supervisor and agree on a topic for your Bachelor's thesis. Please note: If you would like to write your Bachelor's thesis externally, it is also necessary that you first look for a supervisor at TU Braunschweig! To register the thesis, please use the registration form "Registration of a thesis in the degree program Technology-oriented Management", which is displayed in front of the Examination Office and can also be found here . The completed registration form, signed by you and the examiner, is sent by the institute to the Examination Office and the thesis is thus registered. The processing period of three months begins on the date stated on the registration form; the submission deadline is therefore exactly three months after the registration date (example: registration date: 18.11.2023 -> submission date: 18.02.2024).
Final theses (Bachelor's or Master's thesis) are uploaded to TUConnect. Submission by e-mail or on data carriers is not applicable. The date of submission is the upload date of submission to the Examination Office.
Bound copies no longer need to be submitted to the Examination Office. Examiners can request the submission of a printed copy within 5 days of the upload date. In this case, the submission will be made to the examiners.
An automatic plagiarism check is carried out.
You can only upload one PDF document (the declaration of independence must be included). To do this, convert your work as a PDF document directly from your word processor or use the print function. Please do not scan!
For data protection reasons, you may remove the personal data "surname", "first name" and "matriculation number" from the electronic version of your thesis before uploading it.
The maximum file size is 150 MB. If necessary, please reduce the resolution of images/drawings in the file.
If the final thesis is your last examination and you would like to exmatriculate as soon as possible, you should always be sure that you have passed all examinations and coursework, including the final thesis. If your final thesis has not yet been finally graded, but the work has been assessed as passed in any case, the first and second examiners can hand you a "4.0 certificate", which confirms that your final thesis has been passed with at least "sufficient". We strongly advise against exmatriculation before it is certain that all examinations and coursework have been passed!
