TUmorrow Nights is a film series dedicated entirely to the topic of sustainability! Throughout the year, we present carefully selected films at Universum Filmtheater Braunschweig that shed light on various aspects of sustainability. These films are not only informative, but also offer valuable insights into the challenges and solutions in the field of sustainable development.
Our film screenings are more than just a visit to the movies. After each film, we invite experts, initiatives or sustainability actors from the Technische Universität Braunschweig to reflect on and categorize what they have seen in a short talk. These talks offer you the opportunity to delve deeper into the topic, ask questions and exchange ideas with other interested parties.
We are particularly pleased to be able to offer a free ticket contingent for students of the TU Braunschweig.
A documentary about the battle for the most important resource of all.
Who owns the water? In this country, all we have to do is turn on the tap and we have the best drinking water at all times. Why do we still pay a lot of money for bottled water?
"Bottled Life" uncovers how corporations sell water to people as an expensive lifestyle product by securing access to valuable sources worldwide. Journalist Res Gehriger follows Nestlé's trail and gives us a deep insight into the strategies of one of the most powerful players in the billion-dollar bottled water business.
"Bottled Life" is a stirring contribution to the current debate on the privatization of water. Awarded the Herbert Quandt Media Prize for Business Journalism.
