In recent decades, East Asia has become one of the most important economic regions in the world.

Many German companies have representative offices and branches in these countries and the demand for specialists with language skills and intercultural expertise is high.

English degree programmes

Chinese, Japanese and Korean are among the most difficult languages in the world for us, and a good knowledge of these languages is a real unique selling point in professional life. However, they are not a prerequisite for participation in our exchange programmes: All of our partner universities offer study programmes in English, and many also offer accompanying language courses. This allows you to gradually improve your language level and decide for yourself which subjects you feel comfortable studying in the local language and which you prefer to study in English.
