Teaching a course in English, internationalising the curriculum, educating students to become global citizens - the internationalisation of teaching presents a variety of challenges, both in the classroom and at the strategic and administrative level of university development.
On 3 and 4 December 2024, TU members who are involved in the internationalisation of teaching dealt with precisely these topics. As part of the Stärkung und Ausbau der internationalen Lehre (SAiL) [Strengthening and Expanding International Teaching] funding line, there was a lively exchange with experts and approaches and options for action for internationalisation projects in courses, degree programmes and institutes were discussed.
At the Base Camp International Teaching, participants were offered a participative and varied two-day programme with workshops, keynote speeches, a panel discussion and time to network and exchange ideas.
